“Faith Based Sober Living Principles For Men And Women From Jesus Christ”

You should begin practicing everything you read in the gospel of Jesus Christ immediately. If you put it off you will begin to forget what God has told you. The business of this life will steal it from you quick. So you should be quick to apply it. Your focus should always be to follow what Jesus Christ says, this is the will of God in the life of the believer.  Also, you should always be aware of  what you are hearing. Don’t take anything to heart unless you first have brought it before the Word of God in the gospel of Jesus Christ to discover whether or not it is of God or from Satan. Don’t take everything to be truth just because someone says it is, that includes me. Search the scriptures in the Bible to make sure what I  or anyone else say’s to you is Truth according to scripture. Your adversary the devil is waiting at every turn to drag you down. But we who are in Christ Jesus do not  fear Satan, he has no power over us when we believe Jesus and follow his teachings as written in the gospels of Jesus Christ.

There is no process of time required to be a part of God’s family in Christ Jesus, only true repentance from sin, which sin, we have discovered in the Gospel of Jesus Christ section is unbelief.  And as we learned unbelief is the foundation or beginning of sin.  This does not belong in the family of believers. So you must believe God when he says you are a part of the family of God.  That once you have repented from your sin, that means you are seeking to do righteous works in Christ now, leaving the old works of unrighteousness behind, you are a new creature in Christ. Let’s put it this way; if you stop doing drugs, alcohol and what ever else you can tell is sin today and reach out to Christ  by attempting to fulfil his word in the Gospel then you are not doing drugs, alcohol and the like, and you are following Christ. This makes you part of God’s family. Because of unbelief the Israelites in the wilderness with Moses could not enter  in to God’s rest. So to be a part of God’s family does not require you to be ordained or baptized by a man, but by Christ.

Once you are a member of the family you will want to fellowship with the family in the Spirit of Truth, there is no other fellowship in Christ accept in the Spirit of Truth. All other fellowship is of the world and does not come from the Father, but is earthly, sensual and devilish.  Bear in mind, any fellowship that is for our enjoyment is not of God. If we now seek to please ourselves, then when do we seek to please God? It is our fleshly or carnal nature to want to feel good in many ways. This is where Satan begins his work to overthrow us in his attempts to overthrow the throne of God.  As a child of God in Christ Jesus we do not have to seek our own happiness or fulfilment as it is provided by God while we are seeking to do his works. We do not seek to make others happy or fulfilled, because we cannot seek to please man and God.

So, when we fellowship with other believers it is to worship God in Spirit and in Truth, this is what God looks for.
